There are many ways to get involved with CRU at UAHuntsville. We have community groups that meet throughout the week, a weekly meeting, social events, and larger opportunities from our fall retreat to our winter conference to summer long mission trips.
The Weekly Meeting
occurs every Tuesday at 8:48pm in the University Center Charger Cafe (cafeteria) on the UAH campus. The weekly meeting is a great time for connecting with others, worshipping God, and hearing relevant and powerful teaching from people on campus and around the community.
Community Groups are a great way to get more personally involved with other students on campus. They offer in-depth study of the Bible, accountability, practical teachings, and knowledge about what it means to be a Christian. They are a great place to get to know other people in your respective dorms, make new friends, and grow closer to God together.

Local Churches:
Cru at UAH is partnered with local churches in Huntsville. The reason we partner with churches is because Cru provides a way for local churches to have a presence on campus. The Church is God's primary vehicle for the redemption of cities and of culture, and Cru at UAH is an extension of the local church onto the campus, as we seek to serve students, serve the campus, and bring the hope of the Gospel to the campus as a part of God's big picture that is Biblically given to the church to provide. What Cru provides for you as a student on campus is an extension of the support of The Church, and you need to make sure that you are getting the full experience.
Why UAH Cru students should attend a local church:
1. The local church provides students with a vital connection to weekly teaching of God's Word provided by local pastors. Cru is primarily an entry-level learning experience, and it has a repetitive nature to help students that would never set foot in a church to actually get plugged in to the community of believers.
2. The Bible has a lot to say about being under the authority of the local church, so that we understand that we are under God's authority. If you are just a volunteer, you can leave whenever you want. But if you are under authority, you will be protected from yourself.
3. You should be in a Body of believers that regularly observes communion and offers baptism.
