Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) is a non-profit student organization at the University of Alabama Huntsville. We are a Christian, inter-denominational movement of students who are learning what it means to follow Jesus and to share His love with others. We believe that knowing Jesus infuses your college experience and life with purpose, significance, and meaning.
CRU uses small group Bible studies, a weekly meeting, campus events, outreach events, and indivudal discipleship to help students grow closer to Jesus, grow in spiritual maturity, grow as a fellowship of believers, and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
CRU also has many bigger opportunities to be a part of, including fall retreats, regional conferences, spring break trips, summer long projects (both stateside and international), and even year long mission trip opportunities. These are all great opportunities to meet students all over the country and world in spiritually uplifting environments while working to further God's Kingdom.
Campus Crusade for Christ was founded in 1951 by Bill and Vonette Bright and is currently on 1,029 campuses across the united states and internationally. Campus Crusade for Christ's statement of faith can be found here: Statement of Faith
